I longed for this progect to come around because, like most members of the human race, things that I think will be easy really fire me up! This wasn't the case here, I soon realized. This project, although the smallest in length, wracked my brain the hardest. The question posed "Why do you write?" was a whole hell of a lot trickier to answer than I could've fathomed. My final project, I hope, is a more serious reply to the question. The first draft I attached talks about chafing and other horrible things, so I think it's a bit of a funnier read, although markedly less serious than the final draft. I've also included a letter/author's note I wrote to my teacher Shelley, asking for her feedback, and expressing my views on where I wanted to take this project
